Hi ya all, I just purchased a wooden elephant. No I really did, at a magic auction. It is about 18 inches tall and about 24 inches long. It has a movable arm that is holding a top hat and a place to hold a jumbo dech of cards, which were included with the prop. I have no idea how this thing works or what routine to do with it. It looks as though the arm moves up to the elephants trunk that has a clip to hold what I think should be a jumbo card but things just don't line up and the clip looks like it was made to hold an object thicker than a card. Help!! any ideas.
Be amazed and amused

Hi! Charlie,
the trick you purchased at auction is called the performing pachyderm It's made by Sam Dalal in india, I also own the same prop. Can you describe to me what kind of jumbo cards came with the prop, and the dimensions of the cards, as mine the jumbo cards missing. If you would like I can send you the instructions in PDF format.
