That would be "Deeder" - and he currently resides in my storage...

Wow! So you were the lucky bidder on ebay, eh? I was sorely tempted to bid on him myself; It's good to know he found a good home!

Yes, that was me, in fact I was the only bidder which surprised me. At the start of the auction, I was kind of hoping it would get bid up there because I SO should not have been spending the money on another figure now, kept trying to talk myself out of it, but it got down to the second to the last day, no bids, and oh well.....but in the end, I'm glad I did it.

Great looking figure you have there!! I liked almost all of the names submitted by the other folks as well! He just looks like a "Clarence" to me but, as I said, I like your choice of "Dexter" too! Congrats on the new addition to your ever growing vent family:o)

Thank you.

And No, - no more "growing vent family" - this time I mean it! Really, I do!
No new members except the ones I make myself.

Okay, let me try this - I'm going to make an honest effort to not add any more......(that sort of gives me an "escape clause").

I love your idea of an escape clause Dave. I think I will start a pool to see who can guess when the next one will be!!!

Hahaa, now there's faith that I'll be able to follow through with that honest effort. Smile

Truth be told, if I had the money, and just as importantly, the space to display them safely and protectively (instead of all tucked away in cases somewhere), I would probably have as many of them as I could gather.
But for now, I only have plans to sell one (though that could take months as I am slow to part with any), and to get a case for this one.

There is always the method of adding a wing to the house, selling the wife and the car (thereby reducing expenses) and then being able to add many new characters - lol Of course there are also practical reasons to not do that as well.

Well, you might have a problem with your local zoning folks, but I would put it right off the front of the house, with its own exterior door, so that you can charge admission to passers by for coming in off the street to look at the new expanded "museum".

"SHE?" Hopefully you're talking about a female figure and not the wife. I mean really, priorities man, priorities......

I think a better idea would be to set up chairs in front of the window facing the neighbors house, and have my figures sitting in them staring at the neighbors day and night until they run screaming from their house. Then we could take over their house. There, no problem with zoning laws.

You are the neighborhood terrorist. What a great idea. I may need to steal that idea for a couple of the old biddies in our neck of the woods. (Oh well = its fun to dream)
