I love Psign by Max Maven. (aka Phil Goldstein). I just ordered a $25 version on ebay which definitely does the job. However the stand and basic components are pretty flimsy. They are made out of cheap cardboard and certainly LOOKS cheap. I'm lookin for something a bit bigger and better quality. Does anyone know where I can find one that isn't made out of cheap cardboard and possibly larger for stage work?
I'll ask the same question regarding the "Crystal Clever" close-up effect. ( In which a miniature sword penetrates a small case and a spectators finger ring.)..I have always been in love with this effect, but the only version I know of out there is made out of cheap plastic and looks like it came out of a kid's magic set. (Tenyo version) Anyone out there that makes a better quality version of this ??? Thanks!

The issue many people had with the Tenyo Crystal Cleaver was that it was loud. I own the original Tenyo and a Crystal Cleaver by another manufacturer. They have had the good sense to include a small bit of foam at the top of the t****r to deaden the noise. This is one of the few instances where the copy is better than the original.
I can't remember the name of the seller. something "steen" I think. He's out of Sweden...? Great price...nice little prop. As of Psign: I have been looking for a good copy of that for a while. They are out of stock everywhere and I don't even know if they are still being made. The list price is $45. So you either got a copy cat or a great deal. Since I can't see Maven using cheap props, I suspect it's the former. David

Ton Onosaka make a very nice P-Sign.
I purchased mine from him at Abbott's Magic get-Together about 4 years ago and it is holding up very well. Rodney
