The seven inch tall version is the bobble-head version. That's not the one that shown at the top of the thread. The one that's being discussed is the replica version. Will be made from polystone and steel. That is going to last for a while.

Could someone explain the color scheme to me? Why isn't the devil's head red in any of these replicas?

Because red tends to show up as black in B&W filming and TV.
many colors do not come across well in black and white filming. something most folks these days are not too familiar with. The color issues are explained in the information on the b9 robot site, you just have to read through to it all.

The Mystic Seers in the Hollywood Tower Hotel have red devil heads. I'd post a photo but I'm too challenged to do this. However, if you do a google image search for "Mystic Seer Tower of Terror" you will find plenty of photos of these little beauties sitting on the library shelves on one of several Disney properties.
