One problem that clouds the issue is when some magician makes up an advertising scam that does not truthfully explain his trick. The purchaser buys the trick and is disatisfied with his purchase. He may even feel he was taken. He then feels he should try to figure out the trick before he buys it. Thus the circle begins. Pesonally I will purchase the trick for these reasons:

1. I don't want to build the trick it is easier to buy.
2. I want to learn a new angle on how to preform the trick
3. I want to use the trick in a performance just like the one shown me but I don't want to be accused of stealing.
4. I want to buy the item for my collection.

Basicly if a person can afford to buy the trick buy it. If you are young and just starting out read books and build it.

And for you old f***'s like me if you think it is that good get a patent on it or go on TV before you show it to anyone.
