Dear Mr. Kelly: Can you kinda refrain from making an ass out of yourself by making the same butt-stupid wisecrack time and time again. JP

The effect is quick and surprising; I like it. However, there will be a lot of heat on the packet at the end of the trick and it doesn't look like you end clean. If this aspect is dealt with in the instructions, then 'The Killer Observation Test' looks like a worthwhile purchase to me.

But if you wanted to, you can very cleanly just show everything to have changed and when I've done this to people, they are just blown away by what they've just seen, they don't check the cards. I use that moment just to banter and put the cards away leaving them amazed. Its definetly worth getting if you liked the demo

Ok, looks very nice, but if you can do the royal scam which has a great story line and 100% examineable, why even bother getting this?

Fast and nice. Great work Paul.

@JSBLOOM, Royal Scam is a longer routine; you need more time to do the trick justice. The Killer Observation Test gets to the kicker ending much quicker. For this reason, I thinks it is a good alternative to RS when time is limited. The speed at which the effect takes place also helps make this trick a magician fooler.
Marty P.S. I picked this up a Blackpool and think it is a great effect. |

I do agree since the effect lasted 36 seconds; however, if doing a 36 second trick, I'd go with double back by John Allen over this with a black jack presentation angle.
You could also do a quick version of Color monte in 36 seconds with everything 100% examineable. |

I've mentioned this elsewhere but the alignment move with 3 cards isn't, in my mind, very convincing. Does anyone perform the routine using a different modus operandi that I'm not aware of? Horses for courses obviously, but Colour Monte has never floated my boat. It's a shame as the patter line and general plot is pretty entertaining.

I got to see it performed LIVE in Blackpool and it's a strong routine. Pauls Psychedelic Foursome is another I saw. Hard kicking killer klimax. Ended cleanly and was examined. JP

@JSBLOOM, you should perform what feels right for you. John Allen's Double Back is a fine trick, so is Color Monte when performed correctly (however, I've always thought the supplied cards looked tacky).
Not that keen on Psychedelic Foursome (Paul was getting good reactions from it though). Marty |

Yes, Psychedelic Foursome appears to be based on John Bannon's Spin Doctor. I don't own the effect as I think John's routine is better. However, Paul was getting good reactions with this routine at Blackpool this year.
