I have seen Craig perform this on the stall at the Blackpool Convention this afternoon & all I can say is wow Craig demoed all the routines & they are all awesome !!! The copper silver routine is just so clever & visual !! I will post a review when I have had a chance to sit down properly with this set, as there is so many possibilities Smile

A very nice set !!

I saw this performed last night and thought it was a really cool routine, not sure which routine the guy was doing but there were some lovely visual changes from copper to silver and the finish caught everyone.

The gimmicks were extremely well made too.

Good stuff.

Thanks for the interest guys.

This was a total sell out at the Blackpool Convention. It should have a trailer soon and be available through your favourite dealer (whoever that is!)

Here us the ad copy!

Night Shade Coin Set

From the creator of the Mirage Coin set, Split Happens and Flipped Out comes a revolutionary new coin set - Night Shade. The possibilities with the set are endless and will allow you to perform coin magic you never thought possible.  Nightshade comes complete with all the precision made gimmicks that you will require to perform the routines described on the DVD.

Triple C - Imagine performing a coins across with a Chinese Coin, a Copper Coin and a Silver coin.  Now imagine the spectator deciding the order that the coins travel.

Commercial Copper Silver - The cleanest transposition sequence you will EVER see. A copper and a silver coin change places in full view over and over again. Pure eye candy

Double Kicker - A copper and a silver coin materialise out of nowhere. Just when the spectator thinks they know where the coins are they change into two Chinese coins!

Night Shade - The feature routine in Craig's award winning competition act. Three coins are produced, jump from fingertips to fingertips and finally vanish leaving your hands completely empty.

Shades of Imagination - A coin effect that happens entirely in the spectator's imagination featuring an ending that you have to see to believe.

Night Worker - This routine is worth the price of the DVD alone. A complete act designed for the restaurant worker that takes The humble coin flurry in an entirely new direction.

Includes 4 Precision made gimmicked coins

Any questions let me know!

Sounds interesting but not a lot of information for a serious consideration. None here who owns the set and can post a solid review?

Sorry guys been a bit busy to post back here with a review.

I have been getting stuck into a few of the routines so far:

Commercial Copper Silver:

This has to be my favourite routine from the dvd so clean & visual, very easy to do !!

Double Kicker:

Pure eye candy this routine, when I saw Craig perform this at blackpool, it made me smile, having played around with this routine this requires a bit of practise to get smooth but worth it for the end result.

I will post back when I get chance to work through the other routines.

What you get in the box are some nicely made coins indeed that are universal in many different ways, as you will see with this set that there is more you can do with it !!

The dvd has clear explanations to accompany this product, Craig does a great job explaining the routines to tips & bonuses.

I like this so much I am waiting to here back from Craig regarding another set in different coins !

Cheers

Mark

So far I know that two persons like the set. This is not much considering it was a sell out. And I know there ar 4 precision made gimmicked coins, but have no idea what makes the gimmicks so special. The routines described sound fine, but do I need a new coin set to do them? If there are endless possibilities with the set, what makes the set superior to standard Gaffs?

Very good point. However, you must realise by now that every single effect that has ever been on sale at Blackpool has always been a sell out.

NOT.

You also must realize that a lot of guys who go to conventions do not visit the Magic Café or know very little of internet magic in general. I can't tell you how many people I run into at lectures and at conventions who simply have no clue about stuff on the internet. Most magicians aren't up on "The Latest & Greatest". They buy what they like.

That's interesting. Didn't realise that to be honest. Does anyone know which denomination of coins make up nightshade?

This is also true when I lecture at magic clubs, the majority of magicians I meet have no knowledge of these forums (or they know of them but rarely frequent them), it may be different in the US but that's a fact in the UK.

Craig showed me a prototype of these coins a few years ago, ingenious is the first word that comes to mind, they make some of the classics self-working, but more importantly, they open up a whole new area of coin magic to be explored.

Are these gimmicks made from real coins? If so, which coinage? English penny, etc.

The set I saw was 1/2 dollar and English penny.
