Buzz has suggested I open I mention here that I'm looking to name two figures:

1. My "Tater" figure, which I've had for awhile but haven't come up with a name as cool as "Tater."

2. My Wanlu duck. He's yellow with a big orange bill, cartoon eyes and a tuft of purple "hair" atop his head.

They don't necessarily need last names.
Anybody got an inspiration?

Well, that first line's kinda messed up, innit?
Ignore "I open."

Thanks you.

We return you to your regularly scheduled thread, already in progress.

Phillip,

How about Tator "Tott" as in a Hardees' breakfast Potato
or
Tater Todder as in Teeter Todder?

I'm going blank on the duck right now. Let me see if something evolves in my little pin head.

Steve;
I almost fell of my couch when I opened this thread and read that you were “going blank on the duck right now” I never thought I’d see you write something like that.

And I write this in a most humorous way.

OK. The Duck.

Duck A. LaOrange

The A. to be pronounced "Ah", as in the short phonetic "a".

(Feel better now Buzz?)

Steve;
I woke up this morning and after seeing your post, my heart has resumed a normal rhythm; and I can go through my day free of worry and anxiety.

For the Tater figure, maybe something with a similar feel.. Skeeter, Skip or Scooter. I just went and looked at the figure though, and I found that Tater is a baby. So maybe a variation of some famous baby name.. Dumpling (from Blondie) or Snookums (Fanny Brice).

For the duck... how 'bout "Bill"?

Steve..."Tott." Hmmmm.
Perhaps the "blank" in "...going blank on the duck" should be filled in with "postal." :-D

Mr. P...I was kinda fishin' around with names about a week ago like Skeeter or Scooter. Also Toddle, Tyke, Nipper, Button and Squirt. Any of those seem appropriate?

Buzz...Glad to see you're on the mend.

Or just "Baby".
V: But what's your name?
F: I don't know, they only ever call me "Baby"
Then you could go into a routine where he decides to choose his own name.

For the duck, I don't know "Quack Meup" (I know...I know.....that's bad....)

I am better; in this post when Steve wrote he going blank on the duck and could not comment, and another thread where it was suggested that I limit my next figure to no more than 10 movements had weakened my circulatory system to the point of needing nitroglycerin to stabilize my heart;

I have now fully recuperated and continue to post.

Thank you for your concern Philip.

Hi Buzz, nice to meet you.

I'm a professional clown that does magic and balloons. I have a strong love for vent and own a few puppets but currently I don't feel strong enough in vent to put it in my show. I've done a few vent shows in the past but I'd love to see your show someday.

Phillip,

How about Quackers or Pressedly Duck for the duck figure.

Two more suggestions for Tator:

Either just "Sweet Tator"

or

"Common Tator" (Someone with lots of opinions and no sense to back it up)

Don't quote me,Buzz, 'cuz I could be way wrong...but I think funnyclown's "Philip" is a noun of address to me.
Might be something in "Pressedly Duck."

Philip;

Now that I have re read the entire post, Philip, I do believe you are correct.

OK funnyclown,

The name may change to protect the innocent, but the offer still stands.

If you’re interested we can get together and practice; I have books and DVD’s… and I will soon have a PA system and a Tech3.
