There is currently a Ralph Adams basket for sale on the well-known auction site...
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Since I read your post, I have looked around also, but with no success. Call Richard Hatch at H&R Magic Books. He is usually able to find almost everything I need.

Would anyone with the book care to photocopy a couple of pages for me?

It would be unethical to photocopy a book for you.
But Richard Hatch, or Denny & Lee May have one.

If I find one, I will let you know.

There is one for sale by WANMAGIC and it seemed pretty reasonable, but if you are set on building I understand. I know for me it would be a challenge with the compound mitre cuts. I love mine and have been using it for 15 years. mine even does a color change?????? check in illusions for sale or trade. he should have pics on photo bucket to look at.

Are you saying that Mr. Rubino is building the Ralph Adams-style sword basket (i.e., the sword basket that George Kimery (Chalet Magic) was at one time building?

Donal,

To clarify; Thom is not building the Adams Sword Basket, just putting our "Modern Sword Basket" out again.

LUKE: Hocus-Pocus is selling an Adams Book as of today for $40. Grab it NOW.

I have the Adams book/video for $35.
It's all in the reflexes.

If you want the BEST sword basket you could ever get contact your nearest 'blind society'. I got mine for 125 euro & it was built to exact specs by people who could not see BUT could feel their way giving me the best prop ever. I have done a few fund-raisers for them since then & still feel I have not paid enough!
