I want to get some jumbo Barber halves, but I can't find a place to get them. Does anyone know where I can look?
Thanks so much, Brad

I changed over my whole coin tools to barber halves. Todd Lassan did the work.. truly awesome.. I would also like a connection for jumbo barbers.

Personally, I don't think you can get them. I just haven't seen them anywhere.

Well I know we are not in the same league as Mr.Reed, but he has some, so they have to be out there some where. But to find them is the question?
Nobody knows where to find them? Somebody must know the secret where to find them. Brad

Well... if there is such thing as a JBH (and not Morgans) Magic Smith would have had them. Email Chris and ask him where he sold all his jumbos.

Hey a break though,
http://www.jakesmp.net/Silver_Bars/Giant......r_C.html Yay, And a good price Brad I found another place to get them, but I got the last one. Yay Hey I found a Morgan jumbo for 45, and some jumbo Mercury dimes for 35. Each is 3 1/2in, one troy pound of silver. Is that a good deal? Thanks brad

I've located both jumbo (3") Morgans and Barbers (different from Reed's)... will let you know more details in just a few days.

Alright Kainoa,
I've gotten my supply of jumbo Morgans. When did you say you were going to get back to us on the jumbo Barbers? Also, move out of Delaware. Love, Jason |

At COINvention, I met Todd Plaster and he has got some of the best Jumbo coins around from 3-10 inches.
He said that Murphy's Magic will have them. Also will be making most of the more popular coins in all sizes. (Barber, Walking, Morgan) Best Joe

Pete,
Barber halves are the half dollars before the walking liberties. They have little relief because they are so worn, making them very silent when sliding over each other. One side has a lady with a bonnet and the reverse has an eagle in the 'jumping jacks' pose. -Casey |

Oh, my news is bad, bad, bad. My potential source told me they don't have them anymore. Sigh… I'm just planning on using Todd Plaster's Morgans, which look just like the Barbers, but the faces are inverted. I'm counting on people not really noticing the difference. Ha....

I can't post the links (house rule) but if you search ebay you will find all the coins in the world and many prices, including "soft" coins, jumbo coins, etc.
