I have a similar routine using my mini french gullotine and my chicken. The difference is that my chicken is in the mini gullotine and I am in a matching huge gullotine! We both get our heads chopped at the same time.Unfortunately,I sold my large gullotine but occasionally I still do the chicken bit.

Maps, I would have loved to see your routine.
You made me think of what would be an interesting post on the forum. Tricks I wish I hadn't sold.

Story of my life, too. There's a classic head-in-a-swordbox (I forget the name now!)that I sold in a fit of pique and wish I had back.

Thanks! CaptKirk.
That was only my second performance of that routine, and I had no time to rehearse it with my Grand-daughter. I have a few little things that I would change up, but basically I loved the routine and so did the kids.
I would not have done that illusion with a (child) volunteer, not that it is unsafe but just because. But with Taco doing it, I think it eased up the tension a little. I did find it funny that even though you can not see it in the video after I said that I planned to use my Grand-daughter, and she said no, I had 15-20 cub scouts raise their hands to do it.
This was a video from my Saturday cub scout show. I did the same routine on Friday night for another cub scout pack. This was the 3rd. year in a row that I performed for this pack. 2 years ago I did tricks like the Dagger chest, the hand chopper, and the visible sawing through body, and I did use cub scouts as volunteers. After my Friday show the Scout leader mentioned that a lot of the boys mentioned that they hoped that I was again bringing my dangerous stuff. HE asked me to bring that stuff next year. I wrote that in the book I keep on what I perform at every show.
By the way, everything I do, and the way I do it, all is 100% safe unless I go completely nuts.
