So I have gone back and forth on using a lable verses using my hand to write the addresses on my contracts envelopes.

I am only talking about the envelope for clients that have already booked me.

I print eh contract out and sign it then put it in the envelope and what - use a printed lable , print directly to the envelope with my lazer printer, use my own hand writting.

I only ask as back in the day it was that if you wrote it with your hand you had to much time and may seem not as busy others say its more personal.

today with all teh advancements does this even matter.

what say you?

thanks

Sam, since it is an anticipated business communication and you're not worried about it being trashed unopened, I would think that the label would be fine. I run my envelopes through my printer, but either way should work.

Now, thank you notes, personal notes and bulk promotions sent by me are always hand addressed.

In a world of typeset, handwritten letters stand out.

Skip - agreed however when I am doing a mailing of 50 or so pieces I am using labels

Benji- agreed and there is even a font that looks just like hand writing but truth be told I think that even though hand written addresses stand out I think its the norm to get there address in a font form

just like doing biz via email I do a lot of first contacts thru email and then some times the whole process of confirming details and emailing the contract. we are in a technological age where this is all going to be web based work soon.

my thoughts anyway

thanks for the replys
