I have yet to order the new book. I do have a DVD he gave out at the Coin Seminar several years ago. This had no explainations just brief performances saying, "Here's the coin vanish. Here's another one." along with the fuller matrix routines and the Zombie. After watching just the vanishes I thought What is I think I'm doing??. His handling looked just like real magic. I've read the coin book several times but it did not help in seeing how he did the moves. They were perfect. I better get the new book.
As for a small object vanish the Scarne routine will work fine. Just display the ball and keep it in the hand after the transfer is apparently made. No special finger motion is needed so long as the fingers end up covering the ball. P |

Al's book is very good and his thinking is great to read and then apply.
