I posted this in Secret Sessions, but realized it doesn't tip anything, so I figured I would ask here:

I have a question about the static cling Heinz Labels.

I have recently seen two kinds of labels. One that is more static clingy, plastic kind of feel. And then some that are more papery.

Wondering if there was an improvement on Labels that were put out at some point, and the labels that are more papery are an older style?

Thoughts?

I believe people are making their own replacement labels as they are no longer available.

Hi John!

The earlier runs were more paper like and the later ones were the more plastic feeling ones.

Three years ago I purchased the VERY LAST STOCK, (250 sets!) of the Heinz labels that Norm & Lupe had before they changed the labels to the more Goofy-Looking, Cartoony labels that they currently have.

I Strongly disagree with you, Sam!

The classic Heinz bottle shape & label will ALWAYS be an automatic association in the public's mind!

Just as the Classic Coke Bottle design remains immediately recognizable!

Yes, even if they change the label it will take a loooong time to change the minds of the public. I am not worried about it at all.

You mistake my statement, my point was not that the lable wont work on the bottle but that they are making a new lable and although yes for a while the old label will be instantly idenifiable it will look odd down the road as they will wonder how old is that ketchup bottle LOL

I am still myself looking for labels for mine so Frank if you got some to sell let me know I would like a few:)

I use clear silicone caulk.

Just squeeze a glob inside the Cap, put the cap back on the bottle and let it dry.
