The Abbott Flea Market and Auction will take place May 14th at the Elementary School in Colon MI. This is a FREE event to attend (you only have to pay a fee if you want to sell magic). For more info and pics from past flea markets check out the link below.

Beginning at 9 am the Flea Market is open and every hour on the hour will be a 15 minute auction up to 2 pm. Abbott's will post some of the bigger/better items it will have at the Flea Market (or auctioned off) around May 1st. In my opinion you will not find better values in magic than at this event. It's a great time and the Abbott staff makes the auction very enjoyable and lots of fun.

2 Seller tables remaining at this time

Greg's Facebook page says he will find room for more tables somehow.

I know Kevin Heller suggested the stage but the school is in session and they have equipment on the stage during the school year. The center section where the illusions go is a possibility and I think they could probably move the auction table.

Anyhow, its a good problem to have, the Closeup Convention sold out about 2 weeks before, now the dealers tables here are almost sold out about a month before. Maybe the economy is starting to pick up (although S&P long term outlook went from stable to negative today).

One seller table left, every seller table after that will be because of Greg Bordner's ingenuity.

We have posted a few more photos at http://www.magicgettogether.com and http://www.topsmag.com of Flea Market products that sellers are bringing. We will have more sellers this year than any other year so we are really hoping for a great turnout with all these folks buying sellers tables. Technically we are sold out of tables, but Greg is adding two center rows back to back so the Flea Market will look more like the Dealers room during the Get Together. The large illusions will either be on stage or in the center aisle as well.

Seller Tables are officially sold out, Greg stopped at 27. Remember this is free to attend as is the auction (only sellers had to purchase space)

This will be the most seller tables ever in the 30 year history of this Flea Market/Auction. In addition Hank Moorehouse, who will be on the cover of the June MUM and honoree at the 2011 SAM convention, will be doing the hourly auctions.

With Abbott's giving away free books to all attendee's (and also having a $1 book sale, and free Tops magazines in the showroom), I think Colon Michigan is the place to be May 14th from 9am till 2pm.
