I'd like to add a milk pouring routine to my kids act, but I am not sure what to use. Obviously milk will ruin the props in the long run. As I am using a "Wonder Glass" I can't use food-colored water as the method is not disguised unless the liquid is opaque. What can you use in place of milk? Or better yet, what looks like milk but doesn't have the undesirable properties of the real thing?

Thanks

John

I use a product called OOM, ( Oil Of Milk ), you can buy it at most magic shops. It could be the machine shop oil that donrodrigo is talking about.

Hi Al. I have always done family-friendly shows. I'm just starting to see what I can do for a kids-focus. I'm looking forward to it.

Everyone else, thank you. I will check these out.

John

DonRidrigo is correct....OOM (oil of milk) is a very expensive version of the light oils used in machine shops. You might even find this included in the Howie Didits section of the Café....there's a wealth of info there on how to make your own stuff.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about? Smile

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

Gun Oil - used to lubricate guns and available at a gun shop - may be cheaper in small quantities and you'll probably find what you buy will last you the rest of your life!
