We'll want full particulars on that lengthwise placement when you've perfected it. Sounds superb.

With the bone, size matters! The Topler has been reinvented because of the weight and size of this prop!

Balaram,
I'm glad you were able to get it. I just could not scratch up the funds at this very time. Denn, put me on the list though, pm me as to the number I now hold. As well, a pm as to my pm to you. I just did not want to hold things up by having Joe hold it for me for two to three weeks. I knew I would curse the day I walked out of Joe's with only two legs. Dr. Solar

More on the Bone of the Elders—
(And if they ever get the website going they can quote me from this or my earlier posts.) I’ve spent some time messing around aging and distressing thick hemp cord to make three ties to go around the travel case, rather than the ones that are included. I’m really liking how rustic and purposely unfinished the case is too. I also have a very powerful raven type gimmick and the bone will quiver and very slowly spin on command if set just so, meaning it would be feasible to have it act as a locator, perhaps land on the skull bone shard or scrap of parchment (?) The range of type and length of tilt, tremor, dip, and spill is quite amazing far more than any other model/method I’ve ever encountered for this type of effect. The true Magick for me, is the dang thing does not need to be reset ever, no turning it on it’s end, no waiting for it to rebalance or re-tune. It does it as if under an inexplicable spell (really!!!) I’ve also taken (very great and painstaking care) to re-age the length here and there to fit the exact presentation I’m working on. It is very nicely distressed and aged, but there remains the flexibility for some customization on of look if one has the skill, technique, and patience. And I become more and more impressed with the little things, the icky velvet lining cloth in the chest. The scraps of “provenance” and “history” --even the more contemporary but very appropriate packing material in the bottom of the box. For me it all just adds up. Another thing they did not have to do, but have done with integrity, is to provide in the instructions a history and credits for those before them that have worked on and polished this effect-- The path leading to this innovative (and stage!!!) version. Soul joking aside (?) I really want to thank Mr. Fox and Mr. Whomever for getting word out, coming up with this, taking the #)$*^&@ trouble to manufacture them, making them available to bizarrists, and all at price none of us really deserve considering what we’re willing to spend on even tacky magic.
