Yes, I think so too. If I spoiled too much, any mo please feel free to edit my previous post.
And I HAD no idea how it could be done with 2 people. The "glove trick" (lol) unfortunately spoiled it for me big time. |

Wow, I don't know why they used the gloves or what they were thinking. Lee is a great magician and it is strange to see such a mistake from him.

I recommend watching the whole video. The fire-spiker looks fantastic. I'm pretty sure it was built by Tim Clothier which leads me to believe it is authorized by Kalin even though the design is a little different design. -Alex

Also Magic Unlimited performs it with the kicker at the end
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obnJzBC1Oqc In my book, this is exposure. Like if at the end of Sawing A Woman In Half, the second girl would emerge from the table. Like if everybody in the theatre would see it as a sudden appearance of a girl. " Fantastic, never saw it coming! " Or like if Luis De Matos would finish his "Mirror Penetration" with a miracle production of a girl emerging from the pane of glass, with the lycra and dramatic music, eveything. Or better (I'll stop after that, you get the point!) Copperfield to make a man appears in mysterious shadows on the other side of the Great Wall Of China after passing thru it. And please don't patronize me for "exposing", Magic Unlimited (and C.Farla are the one doing it on TV)... |

I don't like the "kicker". I think it draws you right to the method. Why do you need to produce an additional person during a metamorphosis?

The short answer to the posted question is, yes. This might not directly give the audience the solution but it certainly isn't fulfilling the magician's main quest which is to leave the audience away from the methodology. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
