Here's one for any name. Sort of a sight gag. I picture holding a hat with a hole in the back for your hand to go through as you recite the following.

A party for _________ was planned
to take place in a magical land
The magician was there
and he pulled out a hare (OWWW!)[pull hand up through the hat with the other hand as you pretend to pull a hair off it]
But the pain was all he could stand
Do not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest, if you do not give up. Galatians 6:9

This is just my way of suggesting that the name of the child doesn't have to be the end word, so if you have a difficult name, place it mid-line and use an easier word

That's great. It seems painfully obvious now, but that is quite a revelation.

On Saturday, I get a little girl on stage. Her name? Lyric. Thanks George, this one was just too easy.

One of your better ideas, George! Excellent. Works with kids or adults.

Absolutely superb George.

The least I can do is attempt to contribute here.

No doubt somebody could make this one better but here goes.

A little Lawrence Welk for you all...

A1 and A2 and A3...

There was a girl named ____ who as a birthday child
had a very special party that was crazy and wild.
a magician called _____ came over to show
eye popping magic, everybody yelled whoa!

Time and again he amazed ____, and everyone in the place
oh if you could have just seen, the looks on their face.

Well I’m going to stop the poem, so don’t have a cow,
Because it’s time to wish ___ a very special birthday right now.

Then perhaps have the entire crowd yell happy birthday _____?
In loving memory of Hughie Thomasson 1952-2007.

You brought something beautiful to this world, you touched my heart, my soul and my life. You will be greatly missed.

Until we meet again “my old friend”.
