Joebob,
All in all, it seems like a workable act, although I'm not quite sure what ties it all together without seeing it. My only quibble might be: Isn't having the dancing golf club (cane) and the Zombie in the same show too much similarity for the audience? Bottom line, though: If it works, it works. cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

Why is Zombie and Dancing Club to much similarity?

Well, they are both floating, "free"-moving objects, for one thing.
The fact that they are different things may be lost on the audience; all they see is that something floats -- twice. cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

Peter... You've brought up a wonderful concept: "2 different items floating in the same show..."
Joebob, what might work here, is if you pick one of the 'floating' effects to close your show with. Which of the two (Dancing Golf Club, or 'Zombie') do you think has the best impact? The 'lay audience' loves to see things levitate or float in mid-air. Once you've done a floating routine, it's difficult to follow it with something that impacts the audience even more. Although it can be done (Salvano does his 'Dancing Stick' towards the middle of his act... but he follows it with such tremendous other things. It seems as if he downplays the dancing stick just a little, and plays his other routines much higher.) In the 'Parlor' situations that I perform in, I close my set with 'Zombie'. For special occasions, I've closed with a 10 minute 'Dream Sequence' routine, with the final effect being the 'Floating Rose' (I skip 'Zombie'.) Just My Thoughts... - -Troy
