Not wanting to get drawn into the 'ad-no ad' debate (I have seen a rise of direct sales pitches in pennies lately and wondered how they were achieved)...I thought I would post a few words about this e-book.

Yes, it takes a well known set of principles and puts a new spin on them. But yes, with a right kind of presentation and scene setting, I think this will play very strongly. It is great for impromptu, close-up and cabaret. My preference would be for cabaret as the finale seems stronger to me than in the close-up version. And the method for achieving it was what first popped into my mind while I read the e-book. I think this also has great 'bizarre' potential if combined with other material and mixed in with a longer narrative about non-western traditions. I could also see this playing well in combination with some of Anthony Jacquin's work in Reality is Plastic, and as a follow on to the Thaumaturgy arm illusion...overall, I think is worth a look...
