Ok maybe it is just me, (yea MAYBE) but does it bother anyone else to get what I call a "recycled email"?
That is to say someone writes you and you write back or what not, then a few weeks later they use that SAME email title subject and whole conversation to write on an entirely new subject? I don't know why this bothers me but I keep thinking to myself "what this guy doesn't have the time to think of a new subject line?" It just bothers me is all and I wondered if it bothered others as well?

The only thing worse is no subject line at all. "Come on- what do you want to talk about? It's not like I have to sort through over a hundred emails a day!"

I'm guilty of doing this.
Here's why: sometimes when I want to write an email to someone I haven't written to in a while, I realize I can't remember their email address. So I go find an old email from the person, and click reply. Usually I change the subject line, but not always, because sometimes it's just a "hey how ya doing?" email with no specific subject. It's not about time, per se, but about not really knowing in advance what I'm planning to talk about. Perhaps I should just program a hot key to write "hey how ya doing?" in the subject line. |

Not a bad idea. It annoys me too, and I'm also guilty of it.
