Hi Mike,
Eventective is visited by 1.2 million planners each month. With an Eventective courtesy listing, you can include a business description, upload photos showcasing your work and provide links to pages on your website such as testimonials that will appear under your business description. A link to your website will also be included under your contact information, which planners can review after they click the Contact Vendor link on your page. The leads are created directly by the party planners, meeting coordinators and brides that come to our site, review listings, and click to send their event requests to venues and vendors. Your Eventective listing generates two types of leads – some are free and sent only to you and some are competitive and require you to purchase them. A planner using Eventective to research venues and vendors for their event may contact you directly through Eventective. This is a Free Direct Lead that is sent to you at no charge and includes details for the event and the planner’s contact information. Planners also use Eventective to match them with providers in their area. These Competitive Leads cost $2.50 and provide a cost effective means for you to pursue event business in your area. You can save money by purchasing pre-paid lead credits and advertisers receive an additional 20% discount on lead purchases. You can read feedback from clients who have used Eventective and benefitted from the leads http://www.eventective.com/forum/forum5-......ors.aspx We can offer you several tips for setting lead filters, reviewing leads for the best fit, and suggesting a process for responding to leads to maximize success. Please contact our client service team at 207.253.1653 or cs@eventective.com. We look forward to hearing from you. |

I have only gotten one job from Eventective, but that person called me back again for another event, and I only paid $2 for the lead I think. I do get a lot of junk that I don't need from them, but I just dump them with the emails that say I've got a friend in Zimbabwe that wants to give me a million dollars, and all of those emails for viagra.

It sounded like a good site, but the leads are not precise and did not work for me.

Same here. Not targeted enough. They originally added me without permission, and ordered them to take my listing down after they asked me to pay for leads I didn't ask for.
I recently added myself again, and the leads are horrible. Absolutely not targeting to what I do, a change my settings and it doesn't help one bit.

Here is the funny part: My money dissapeared the very next week, and it is impossible to get ahold of anyone there. I even contacted the dude that said he would give Café members a $25 credit, and still no response.
