I just attended Will Houstoun's lecure, and let me say that it was fantastic. His Lecture was titled "Out With the Old, in With the New" His lecture consisted of talking about performers from 200 years ago. one of his books he was selling was an actual book called " The Notebook" that was written by Boaz, in 1800, and he re-typed the whole thing. It containes over 80 card tricks that only make you think how advanced magic was BACK THEN. simply put, his lecture is fantastic and his notes are well worth the time for those who find them.

As well as providing 'old' and 'new' routines, they also provide examples of the material you'll find in 'The Notebook' (which I have and is excellent) and 'Hellis in Wonderland' (which I don't but looks excellent). I don't know if the lecture notes are available outside of the lecture (I didn't see them on his website: willhoustoun.co.uk), but they are definitely worthwhile. Great stuff. |

I'm looking forward to Will's lecture tonight in Royal Oak, MI (metro Detroit area). I'll make sure to get a copy of the lecture notes.
