Here are a couple of things I've made in my spare time.
I really enjoy making things, so tell me honestly what you think, good or bad.

Time to open an on-line store.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Necessity is the mother of invention, if I could afford a Higley I would snatch one up so fast,
It would make your head spin... Hmmm, now theres an idea.

Not that it matters, and only intended as an interesting aside.....from my short time on the classical stage I can share that:

Bravo - cheers for the male only
Brava - cheers for the female only
Bravi - cheers for male and female performing together.

If you were to yell "BRAVA" to a man taking bows (or showing his homemade shrunken head box), you'd most definitely incur the wrath of the opera snobs everywhere Smile

Yes, indeed I am a male. But isn't that an interesting assumption?
Reminds me of the riddle wherein a Man and his son both get into a car wreck.
Both men are rushed to the hospital in critical condition,
where the surgeon upon arrival of these patients declares.
"I can't operate on this boy, he is my son!"... To which the listener is
inclined to assume the surgeon must be male, therefor some kind of
word play must be at work.

Is this some sort of veiled threat? What could I have possibly done to invoke the wrath
of the mighty Godzilla... Leave my town alone!

No Threats...The one you have to look out for is the "Soul Taker"...MR. Scratch !

Wow, I didn't expect so many positive things to be said.
And a compliment from the man himself, if anyone knows a good head box, its Mr Higley.
Thanks for the kind words Mr Baker, I honestly forgot there was a workshop forum. I rarely leave spooky and penny.

Isn't it interesting to see how we can see beauty in something so... "ugly"?
I don't know anyone outside of the bizarre who would use the term "A beauty"
to describe an old box, especially if said box contained a head as this one does.

Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
Especially when that eye floats suspended in liquid in a small jar.

I wish I had a handy bone in my body. I am always impressed and perhaps a bit jealous with the creations made within this forum, including those we see here. Well done!
