This looks like a true miracle in my eyes, I hope to have it my hands soon.
Im very curious about the secret, how is it possible? |

It comes with 50 gimmicks? Can each gimmick only be used once? In other words its good for only 50 performances?
And does it actually say "Wednesday" (for example) on the picture? I didn't see the day of the week on it.
I call myself "Thomas Cooper" here because this stops the magic café appearing when people google my stage name.
Does anyone else find the term "Special User" to be a bit condescending? |

You use up a gaff each time you perform Alarmed, it's designed so you give the photo away to the spec at the conclusion. I've had stickers made with my website details on the back. Reload packs are available from www.tricktrickboom where you get 50 extra gaffs.

I really want to invest in this; because if its as clean as the advert says then its a miracle. Can I ask, would the following be possible? It doesn't matter if the answer is no, but it would be awesome if it is possible. I like to present my effects as if I am doing "visual mind reading", so for example I want to hold up the picture in my hands and look at it (ofcourse hiding it from the spectator) so I can glance between the photo itself and the eyes of the spectator - making them believe I am 'sending' them the visual infomation. Then once the time is named I can hand them the photo. This would mean that it makes more sense with my "visual mind reading" storyline, but it would also help eliminate any suspicion of me having 10,080 photos in my pockets. I assume that some "trick work" must be done to the photo; but can you do this "tricky work" while actually holding just one photo in front of them? If the answer is no then that's ok; I'll still be buying the effect, but it would be nice if I could use this presentation. Tom xx

Theo - can you guys PM each other on the questions you asked please? I just ordered this and at this super early stage of the thread ...why tip anything at all in terms of methods?
To me the only theoretical downside to this effect is the fact that the trick requires the re-ordering of materials. But the fact that the spec can keep the photo seems like a very cool memento.

The 24 hour clock format isn't really that common in the U.S. (e.g. 15:15 vs. 3:15), so would it still be possible to perform the effect with the 12 hour time format?

In the demo video the picture of the clock uses 24 hour time, but if you look at the product picture (the one that shows the box, DVD, and the clock picture), the picture of the clock has an AM/PM marker, instead of the 24 hour time. I'd much rather have the pictures with the AM/PM marker, using 24 hour time isn't common in the US. I asked them(on the Alakazam site) which version we'll get with our purchase, but the never responded.
Even if the pictures don't have the AM/PM marker, you don't have to use 24 time, the picture just won't differentiate between AM and PM. This will of course drop the possible number of outcomes from 10,080 down to 5040. Personally I'd really like to have the AM/PM marker, but if they don't have it, it won't be that big of a deal. |

Just a thought 1 gaff per performance either way if you wanted to put 3-15 or 15-15 no different. Carl. |

Martin you can't buy Alarmed right now because of the 20% discount. There is nothing wrong with the search engine. Alarmed just taken off from the site.
Sing off too for the same reason. |

So he could have said Except Pre-Orders but he has clearly stated No restrictions! Why Say No restrictions! if that is not what you mean ! This is not the 1st Time I have had problems with the search on Alakazam, several times in the past had the same issues as stated for example Peter sells Several Banchek Books DVD's but if you add "Banchek" to the search only 1 Item is found |
