I'm beginning to wonder whether there's a level of bias in the WPR reviews, especially when it comes to Theory11 products. No way is Shinobi that good. I noticed many people picking up on this via YouTube comments.

I wonder if the products that deliver a greater margin to WMS.com get the best scores? Merely a hypothesis, not a fact.

I think they reviewed the new dvd and not the original download mate. Im not sure if that's by t11 or what may be new on there.

I couldn't even find the full DVD on Theory 11. Just the download.

The Shinobi Control dvd is NOT by Theory 11. Tony Chang produced it.

My god Andi how did you guess?

Yes were totally biased towards Theory 11. We only want to give their DVDs good reviews because were in their pocket........Oh hang on that's total rubbish!

Let me explain to you Andi, if we like something we say so and then say why. If we don't like something we say so. If we really hate something we trash it. You can say a lot about the WPR but one things for sure were honest......but like we said time and time again it's only our opinion - it doesn't make it right.

By my count we have only ever reviewed three Theory 11 products - Smoke got WOTW, Dresscode was given a WOTW but the viewers decided that. Witness got a great review but not awarded WOTW.

I think that we have given more positive reviews to Vanishing Inc - does that mean were biased towards them?

Whatever, I'm glad your watching the show and it's stimulating your interest enough to want to discuss it on the Café - thanks for that.

I think the only bias ( if any ) on the WPR is whether or not you would perform it , e.g if its something your excited about or something youve performed you maybe speak it up over products you havent , but I don't really think that's either a problem or a common thing,

I don't think there is any overt bias to any producer / supplier of effects on the WPR.
As Magicians we all have our favourite types of effects / gimmicks / cards etc.
Overall its a great show that allows the greater magic community to get and idea and
a relatively objective view point of something before we part with our hard earnt cash. We all know
of some of the absolute rubbish that is out there and we all have a draw / cupboard / filing
cabinet full of it! Craig & Dave - keep up the good work!

We are inclined to believe those whom we do not know because they have not yet deceived us...

I have the DVD, its a good routine man . don't do it often but we have to learn to look at effects as the lay.... They can understand this effect simple and impossible.. AS far as Shinobi, I mean yeah you watch a youtube demo over and over and you will get it... Remember its a move, a control a means to an end.. Riffle force is just as detectable IMHO if you watch it over and over and over.... Its not "Hey look at this move" its " Here pick a card any card"

I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

CRAIG AND DAVE: I'd be interested in seeing your opinion on Ref4m from Theory 11. Lots of mixed reviews on it so far.

I am sorry, it is the difference in time between London and Amsterdam.
It is a short distance, so I didn't notice.
