Here is a video of a kid that I got onstage at Dollywood about a month ago. He was a little lively, but all in all, a good participant.
This was recorded by his parents, I believe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij5AHeXEIIk Scott
Magic is an art. I am merely a tour guide.

You have good rapport with the audience and the helper and you're delivering your script well.
Suggestions for improvement : When you bring the two pieces of paper out for the hat tear, flash them, put the ungimmicked piece on top of the gimmicked one, rip BOTH in half, and you give the helper two pieces of paper, one of each color. You're also left with two pieces, but your gimmick is at all times being COVERED by the normal piece of paper. Much cleaner. Sorry I didn't like the rope trick with the change bag. I really only use a change bag like that for kindergartens and younger birthday party shows, I certainly wouldn't use one in front of a family audience at a theme park. There's so much great stuff you can do with ropes without a change bag ... |
