At least Ross Perot had more than a snowballs chance in H*** then Trump ever will. Trump is a joke. Even the late Pat Paulson stood more of a chance of winning in his attempt at running for the office of President of the United States then Trump has. Heck even Ralph Nader could beat Trump on a very bad day.

Something in the news last week. Contrary to conventional wisdom, it appears that viewership for 'Celebrity Apprentice' actually skews very Democratic (not Republican as most were assuming). Well, at least until Trump played birther. Since then, ratings have dropped off a cliff.
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/arch....../237965/ Excerpt: Nielsen rating for "Celebrity Apprentice" are lower than they were a year ago -- and dropping fast. One reason Trump's audience is abandoning him may be that, according to demographic research of primetime television viewers provided exclusively to The Atlantic by National Media Inc., a firm that places political ads on television, the audience for "Celebrity Apprentice" is among the most liberal in primetime television (see graphic above). Rather than add viewers, Trump foolishly appears to be driving them away. "I was surprised to find that the 'Celebrity Apprentice' was so liberal, because the audience for [another reality show] 'Survivor' is fairly Republican," said Will Feltus, the senior vice president for research at National Media, Inc. "It's a weird show because it's not a regular TV series. But based on MRI ratings, it is clearly a Democratic audience."

Yes, balducci, I actually saw a graph that showed that Trump's show's audience is the most heavily Democratic in all of television-viewerdom. Hard to believe that he didn't know that before he started his campaign on the LFBC. Since the questions about the President's citizenship were first raised by another prominent and popular Democratic candidate, he may have thought his audience was more sympathetic to the doubt than they seem to have turned out to be. But there are many reasons why a show's audience might ebb and flow . . .

Tommy, you are (at least in NOTS) a wonderful troll to have around. You cant possibly believe this stuff.
Anyone catch the white house correspondence dinner? great stuff, Seth Meyers killed, and so did Obama. Meyers-"Donald has said he's thinking about running as a republican, which is surprising, since I just assumed he was running as a joke." I don't think the President "killed." I think he showed how thin-skinned he is and to what degree his character is un-Presidential. His jokes were petty and mean-spirited, in contrast to the self-deprecating humor most previous Presidents have shown.
Besides which, what do you think about the fact that everything the President says about his parents' meeting and marriage is false? W/ |

Kcg5,
In 2007, Senator Obama made the following statements in a speech at Selma, Alabama: Quote:
What happened in Selma, Alabama and Birmingham also stirred the conscience of the nation. It worried folks in the White House who said, “You know, we're battling Communism. How are we going to win hearts and minds all across the world? If right here in our own country, John, we're not observing the ideals set fort in our Constitution, we might be accused of being hypocrites.” So the Kennedy’s decided we're going to do an air lift. We're going to go to Africa and start bringing young Africans over to this country and give them scholarships to study so they can learn what a wonderful country America is. There are a number of "problems" there, kcg5 - 1) The Selma civil rights march took place on March 7, 1965. The President was born on August 4,1961. So how did the Selma civil rights march have anything at all to do with the circumstances of his birth? 2) Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. came to the United States during the Eisenhower administration, on his own, and was not part of any Kennedy airlift. 3) Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. and Stanley Ann Dunham never even lived together. That's proven by the revelations in Barack Hussein Obama, Sr's INS file. The idea that they had any kind of deep relationship is fictional. Stanley Ann Dunham left her husband in Hawaii just weeks after their son was born. Their marriage served to legitimize their son but failed to enable Barack Sr. to regularize his immigration status (when he finally left the country, some years later, he had overstayed his legal visa.) In addition, don't you find the President's description a bit odd? - "They looked at each other and they decided, 'We know that in the world, as it has been, it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child, but something is stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across the bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born." He describes his parents as if the only possible significance in their marriage was to act as breeders. This is probably just another example of his overweening narcissism, but it does strike me as odd in a story that is apparently intended to indicate how much his parents loved each other. I guess in the final analysis, he has always known that wasn't true, that his parents had no relationship, and that his attitudes towards both of them were based on the fictions that an abandoned child tells himself in order to prevent himself from crying himself to sleep. The man is a pathetic, lonely case, isn't he? Woland |

From the wiki:
In 1959, Obama Sr. received a scholarship in economics through a program organized by nationalist leader Tom Mboya. The program offered Western educational opportunities to outstanding Kenyan students.[21][22][23] Initial financial supporters of the program included Harry Belafonte, Sidney Poitier, Jackie Robinson, and Elizabeth Mooney Kirk, a literacy advocate who provided most of the financial support for Obama Sr.'s early years in the United States, according to the Tom Mboya archives at Stanford University. Funds provided the following year by John F. Kennedy's family paid off old debts of the project and subsidized student stipends, thereby indirectly benefiting Obama Sr. and other members of the 1959 group of scholarship holders. During the 2008 presidential campaign, his son misspoke, saying that the Kennedys organized the initial 1959 student airlift, an error subsequently acknowledged by a campaign spokesman. But whatever. You don't like him, but yet know wayyyy to much about his personal family history. Is your contention that his father made it over here somehow, found a white woman (or not), had a night or two-and then ditched him? You really think he was abandoned? And if so, arent you coming down a bit harsh on him for it? W, your post- " I guess in the final analysis, he has always known that wasn't true, that his parents had no relationship, and that his attitudes towards both of them were based on the fictions that an abandoned child tells himself in order to prevent himself from crying himself to sleep. " You must mean "in my final..", as we know you arent speaking for anyone but yourself.
