Run Wolf Run is great for reading shows in combination with the Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood. It is a mechanical marvel in terms of operation, and the graphics are unbeatable.

Can we get an unbiased opinion on how it compares to Bakery Bear? Construction, operation, reaction?

Doesn't even compare at all. Absolutely the best Wolf prop of the bunch in terms of reaction and operation. Construction is typical Wolf... built like a tank... with a performer in mind. Not unbiased at all.

There is no comparison, Bakery Bear was made nearly 30 years ago, was pretty advanced for it's time, BUT, Chance Wolf has made it far more superior! Both in the mechanics and the materials he used to make it, far more durable! The sliding mechnism is better than any "Run, whatever, Run". I know something about this I have more than 20 different high quality versions in my collection, including Bakery Bear and the predecessor Cookie Monster, and Supreme Magic, Jack Hughes etc. The graphics are outstanding. I did sell my Run Wolf Run last year, to raise money for something (stepdaughters wedding), but I have already placed my order with Wolf for a new one.

I briefly owned Bakery Bear and have to say the design is cool. If you are of a certain generation you grew up with Cookie Monster. Problem is, Cookie Monster went healthy and only eats vegetable snacks now. Sesame Street got gutted, and I'm not sure kids today will make the association of Bakery Bear with that show. I liked the concept of Bakery Bear, and the fact that it was rare. But I'm using Run Wolf Run as my "Run . . ." trick, except at Halloween, when I use Derek Rutt's Haunted Castle. The Wolf is better than my Fairy Tale Rabbit House and Run Dragon Run. Really solid construction and outstanding graphics. Whenever I get the "Runs" this is the prop I turn to . . .

I too have owned several "Runs" including bakery bear, I had him running lots so he could be allowed a cookie at the end. My all time favourite in terms of Look, Constuction, ease of use is Chance's Run Wolf Run. I know it looks like we are all just sucking up but if you get one you will know what we mean, it's the best.
I just wish he'd make a seperate house so I can do my full routine! Colin Dymond http://www.aceofdiamonds.co.uk

I have never owned a RUN effect before, but I am glad I held out for this one. I just ordered the Run Wolf Run this morning. Based on the reviews I have seen and the Youtube videos, it is not only a great effect, but a fabulous work of art. As for the price, I figured my dental work can wait. My dentist isn't going to run out of crowns!

Hey Al,
Unfortunately I have no idea when I will get to the Chicken Swords. It might be within 60 days and it may not be for another year, It is a bit too complex for me to explain why and when we release a new product vs. releasing an older item. Heck...I am not sure I even understand it! Truth is, we need the Interested List to reach a certain level or we cannot justify the run. Inventory is the DEATH of our company. We simply cannot afford to let things sit on the shelves. Simply put. It is like you going to your daily job. Work for 2 weeks. Then get paid about 6 months later. So we have been pretty successful at keeping our doors open by basically building on demand. Sorry to not be of much help. Thanks! Chance

It is all Ken Dumm's fault. After I saw the video of him using it I knew that I had to have one for myself. I'm on your waiting list.

Steve,
The biggest change is that the back panel is flush cut to the main structure. This makes it a bit easier to handle and one less edge to get damged if bumped hard or dropped etc. We also went with digitally printed stickers for the Wolf ONLY. This makes them easier and less expensive to replace compared to the FIVE Color Silk Screened Wolves we originally released. Otherwise, everything else is hand silk screen printed, in my shop, by me. Once again, this is a bit hard to explain in copy and the changes are very minor but those who have owned one before MIGHT see them. Overall, no big deal just little things. I probably should not have mentioned it as I make changes on almost EVERY run of every product as there are always new tweaks I discover along the way. Hope this helps and thanks for the support! Chance
