Mothers day is this Sunday, so buy the one you love a little something special, or you will be sleeping on the couch.

Mo mom, and wife are no longer with us, but my girl friend has a birthday on Thursday, so she is getting two presents as usual. I have a full schedule of shows this weekend, and I already spent it all at the jewelry store.

Not this time around for my mother, but occasionally.

Wish her happy birthday from me.

FYI
My friend Nairb is an American secret agent who is working in a very, very dangerous country. I know just enough about his job to worry about his safety every day.

Not really. According to wikipedia:
"One of the early calls to celebrate a Mother's Day in the United States was the "Mother's Day Proclamation" by Julia Ward Howe. Written in 1870, it was a pacifist reaction to the carnage of the American Civil War and the Franco-Prussian War. The Proclamation was tied to Howe's feminist belief that women had a responsibility to shape their societies at the political level."
