Skip Way, would you be so kind as to point out what exactly I have said that is factually incorrect?
Still waiting for you to show where I was judging police too.

Nah, GDW. I never should have entered this fray in the first place. I have zero tolerance for rabble rousing pseudo-intellectuals. I'll leave this section to you and your kind and move back to more civilized folk. Enjoy your "debates."

Then you don't know what the word means. But I know you do. So you're just choosing to abuse it for personal ends.
I contend that there are 3 or 4 very racist people using these boards. Not just politely mistaken types that are easily misunderstood, but hard core white supremist types. The type that wish people dead for not looking like they do. But since they haven't directly stated "I am a violent type of racist and proud of it!", I/we are left to "read between the lines" of their various postings. It's got NOTHING to do with politics. N.O.T.H.I.N.G. I don't care who these creeps are. But it just so happens, by no fault of mine, that they also just happen to come in here day after day sounding like a broken Glen Beck/Rush Limbaugh/Michelle Bachmann/Sarah Palin record. And who are they if not the current front(s) for the Tea Party? So surprise, surprise, you see me lumping extreme racial prejudicial tendencies in with the tea bagging crowd. Oh, and then there are all the rally signs and extreme right/white web sites, but nobody wants to admit they exist either. But the final straw is when the people who attack me for "reading between the lines" say that's it just fine if they do it. I know you guys want to think I'm stupid, can't read, think for myself or string 15 words together to save my life; and if it makes you sleep better you go right on believing it; think me a fool, but you do so and your own expense. I know hypocracy when I see it. And I know racist dogwhistles when I hear them. And it has NOTHING to do with politics. Not mine anyway. |

Classic! You guys are so fun. If I were the one calling you insulting names you 2 would be the first to say I had no argument worth defending. Flip-flop much?

Is calling people racist an insult? I'm guessing it could be.

What is *extremely* telling is the amount of criticism that some people get from people who AGREE with them politically. I don't profess to know what the Messiah would say about the politics of the Tea Party members, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't call them "tea baggers," especially after being made aware of the connotation.

We merely questioned your sanity. The name-calling is yet again something you completely made up. Nope, our concern for your mental health is perfectly valid based on everything you've posted. Please, get help.

Yep, you're right, sounds like I'm seconds away from a total psychological collapse. If my sanity is in question then there is no one here who can escape the claim. If you don't believe the same as me, fine. You don't respect me for what ever reason, fine. Walk away. But if all you've got to say to someone you disagree with is "you're insane", or "we question your sanity", or "please get checked out before you hurt someone"... I mean, really? Is that the best you got? Sounds pretty lame if you ask me. You guys are just as opinionated as I am. Just as. And I like some of your comments even less than you like mine. But I would never stoop to this level of childish behavor. Really, how lame can you get? |

But Chance, there hasn't been any racism. You haven't been able to show a single solid example of it. If it was there then you bet I'd be opposed to it. But it's not there.
That's what makes you delusional, seeing things that aren't there. There is no need for "best I got," because it's not a debate. You really are delusional. Either that or you're lying. Seriously. I'm not saying the delusional part to insult you, it's just the way it is. 50/50 shot. You won't accept any reality that interferes with your fantasy. You are not rational. Maybe one day you will accept it and seek help, or someone who cares about you will see it and find you help. I hope so. That's all I have to say about it. I've expressed my view and you're free to express yours, but if all you can say about my opinion is that it's "lame," well, pot/kettle, eh?

So I guess you never watched the video then?
And you never read Woland's comment that it contained nothing racist? And you never read Woland's comment that the students challenging their treatment was, and I quote, "racist"? And you never read the websites the Woland links to, that contain some of the most hideous extreme right wing nonsense you can even dream up? Yeah, Chance is just making this stuff up. Whatever makes you sleep better Critter. The best you can say is that maybe I'm reading too much into his words. But don't accuse me of making it up from nothing. |

How exactly did this thread turn to racism? Even more pertinent, how did it happen with Chance taking a thread pertaining to police off topic?

Alright, well since this isn't concerning mental health, per se, I guess I can answer these questions.

I've gone through a crapload of posts and the links he seems to have posted most recently were: The Washington Post. The University of Colorado. A YouTube video of an Estonian composer. ABC news. Which of these is the White Supremacist site? If it's farther back then I need a link 'cause I've worked pretty hard already to try and validate what you're saying. I have very little in common with Woland and disagree with at least 80% of his posts, but I really am not seeing this racism. Sorry man, I tried really hard to find it. Something topical for GDW: No idea, I'm not the Topic Police!
