Hey guys, I need some advice. I do a regular gig at a club in my hometown. A fritenite horror themed night is coming up and I thought I should perform some card effects where the cards move. I'm thinking along the lines of Jamie Dawes scared but maybe using some shimmed cards. I have an m5 pack but I've never really got into that side of things because I only work with cards. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tay.

The haunted deck for sure, perhaps tarantula style for bigger oomph/freakout? Not a fan generally, but when Criss Angel does it and spreads all the cards around first... and then slowly one starts to worm out from under the pile, then slowly the card floats up to his waiting hand, I think that one would be great for a spook nite.

Thanks guys, I havnt had a lot of luck with my tarantula, but the criss angel effect sounds familiar. Did he perform this on a casino floor? If so, do you remember what season it was? I'll look it up. Thanks again, Tay.

There are some good effects with loops that you could do, moving objects, or even a variation of the haunted deck.

Just a shot in the dark, but you may want to try Magnetized Cards by Gary Plants. It is NOT a pk effect, despite the title. And it doesn't mysteriously move cards with invisible forces. BUT, it's a strong effect and might work for your venue. Denny and Lee's was carrying it for $25. PM me for more info if you have time.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Card rise chest? I do it with a Svengali and concentrate on presentation.
Mine is a comedy spooky presentation but you can routine it to any mood you'd like. |

Haunted Deck kills every time. Soooo many ways to do this with L**PS, ITR, IET... All depends on your style and preference. Ground delivery of the effect definately provides max effect.
