I recently purchased a set P&L Copper Cups. I have never seen anyone, accept maybe Bob White, use these in a performance. Do any of you guys ever perform with these cups? They have a very nice "feel" to them. Are they rare?

They were very popular until the Paul Fox cups began to be made by Danny Dew. Then a lot of people switched over to the Paul Fox cups.
I wouldn't call them rare. Scarce, maybe. Also collectible.

Bill :
Which came from P&L first : their solid copper cups or (the more plentiful) chrome (?)-over-copper cups? Thanks Sean |

I don't know for sure that the chrome-plated cups are more plentiful. I really can't tell you with any degree of certainty which came first. I would imagine it was the polished and lacquered copper cups, though.
