Have you ever heard Bob and Ray's spoofs on Mr. Wizard? They're priceless--when I get some time I'll scour YouTube.

Any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile...can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction, "I served in the United States Navy." J.F.K.

Love Bob & Ray. I'll take look myself.

Tesla is a great pick. Too bad the Government got hold of most of his paper's.
Nice that we are just starting to see some of his stuff becoming a reality today.

One of my favorites is Ptolemy, because of the connections to Science, Magic, Music and Astronomy and Math.

Newton is also fun because of his Numerology type interests along side his Math and Science interests. The last Alchemist? You gotta love that.

You have to like Leonardo Da Vinci. (Because I have trouble finishing a project.)

Madam Currie braving a dangerous unknown frontier.

Mary Leaky willing to take a back seat. It's a choice some women make. (Not me.)

Jakob Bronowski, Carl Sagan, Brian Green for introducing me to subjects I didn't have the Science or Math background to approach and making them more tractable.

I don't have a favorite.

That was before fictional scientists were up for consideration.

Seconded.

It's quite sad, imo, that Tesla's main namesake is a coil.
It's amazing, people will criticize you for "biting the hand that feeds you," while they're busy praising the hand that beats them.

I won't forget you Robert.

Same here. I've never had a cup of coffee, but I go through Coke Zero like nobody's business.
