Glad there are many here against the plans by some to privatize the nation's highways. Unfortunately the sharks have been circling for a while.

There are groups that want to privatise everything! So what? Roads are one of the 18 enumerated powers in that document you so hate.

Baseless Danny.
But again I welcome your support in the fight against privatizing highways. In my neighboring New Jersey, it's being seriously considered by the powers that be.

The enumerated powers in the Constitution is a baseless statement? Seriously?

The Constitution is in the way of everything you want to provide. You have to make it a "living and breathing" thing even for you to accept it. It also contains things you hate like making war, or even the existance of guns. So much of it is in direct conflict with what you believe.

I'd like to keep public roads public, which the Constitution provides for.

Dance party... Illegal protest... Just a matter of opinion in your eyes, I can see.

The fact that there is such a thing as an "illegal" (peaceful) protest in any country is ridiculous.

I disagree. It would be ridiculous to make any and all peaceful protests legal.

Glenn,

If the roads are privatised, what does the evil government do with the money?

In fact if we got rid of government - where does all the money from all the assetts go?

I live in the COMMONWEALTH of Australia - where government property is our 'common wealth'.
