The Chair Appearance that Hans Klok is using is not the same as Lance Burton did in his shows, Lance used the Tom Palmer Satan seat

I believe that Lance used the "Throne Illusion" by Barclay Shaw, which was a revised version of Tom Palmer's Satan's Seat appearance.

If I am not wrong, Hans uses belgium magician Rafael's chair illusion. He is a member here, I guess he could tell us better.
All the best Ps: how many thousands of dollars are involved on those 5 minutes?? Hehehhe |

Hi Guys,
the chair's story it's a long story , but if you will ceck as well ( even inside the Gyro's website ceck carefully ) you can see one name never mentioned here before about this version of the chair Ap., this name has worked on this idea and no one have mention him here before , this name is "Silvan " , all the rest of this story and the names mentioned are not totally correct as well , ask Mr.Silvan if you don't belive ....maybe he will say you more about this story and all the guys mentioned here .... what are for you the differences between the Gyro's /Silvan chair compared whit the Rafael chair ? |

Strange... Silvan told me a long time ago that he created a vanish from a chair, like the dekolta chair, but using a office chair and no stage-t..p needed!
I seems like Giro used Silvans idee in reverse and calls it the Giro chair The idea of someone appearing in a chair was done before Silvan came up with his version. I don't think Raphael claims to have invented the effect, he just came up with his own version of this effect. A bit like Joe Karsons Zombie & Tommy Wonders Zombie, both look the same in effect but there are some changes makes each version unique I've seen both the Raphael version and the Giro version and the Raphael version is smaller, better build - some improvements that the Giro version doesn't have and faster, but it cost a bit more money. Especially if you live in Europe then the Giro version is hard to beat in price. The Giro version is a bit bigger, moves when you produce the person, it's like a rocking chair, but the price is a lot better. Both have pro & con's so it depends on your personal taste. |

If someone is able to play the minute waltz from Chopin in 20 seconds, it doesn't necessarily mean that the music is more beautiful.
Should Hans Klok one day be able to do one illusion per second, I hope that the ticket price goes down. For speed I watch formula 1. If I watch magic, I want to dream and not to rush. |

Hans Klok's 'record' was never a real record!
If he wanted he could do more ilusions in 5 minuten but then you lose a lot of their impact! |
