Silly Billy himself tells us in his DVD that his are a very old pair that he's repaired several times and that they can't be found anymore. If anyone has a line on these, I'd be interested too!

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

The Early Bird may get the Worm, but it's the SECOND Mouse that gets the CHEESE!!!

Looks like an idea I may consider manufacturing if there is a big enough demand.
I would make them a bit larger with more visible hot colored blades as well as the expected Wacky Wolf treatment!
Maybe I will whip a proto type and see what you guys think?

Please do that, Chance. I would not only use them in magic shows, but also keep a pair in my purse for rainy day excursions. Keep us posted.

P.S. the ones on eBay are stated as not in working order if you read the entire description.

I think this could be cool. My first thoughts is to make it a device that is attachable to almost ANY pair of glasses! This would allow the performer to choose a style of their choice and character.
Basically a clip on gimmick.
Maybe include a standard set of glasses and give you the option to change them out if they do not work for you.
How does that sound?
I will play with a proto-type over the next few weeks and see what I can tinker together.
I am liking it!
Thanks

The ones on ebay sold for $59! Crazy! I've tried without success to locate a pair of these.

I bought my first pair (from Ebay Germany) for 19 USA dollars. I got a second back up pair for around 25.

As far as repair, can you say duct tape. Protecting these (along with other props) is crucial to our biz. I found a small "tub" with a lid, that the fit in pretty good. They go along with my other glasses gags like the intense white lights the front of a glasses frame.

A year ago, I thought about getting a back up for my back up. They were 70 to 90 USA dollars at the time. When I found them. Can't remember where.

You bet guys! I have already begun the electronic component search.
I may go a bit over the top with a couple extra features...think stressing magician as trick goes wrong...then think rain Smile
Not sure where this will go but it will be far more than just the basic feature.
Please note that the glasses folks have purchased were made in CHINA with cheap components and mass produced in the tens of thousands at slave labor rates as we all know.
These will be proudly hand made MADE IN USA and certainly more than $59.00
Thanks for the enthusiasm guys!

I have to say, there are currently some great creative threads on the MC, after a long period of nothingness. I have Peter Loughran's "Rainmaker". Though it's a tricky thing to install in your jacket, it would be a fab bit of comedy, if combined with the Wiper Glasses.
Now, if only we could be as creative as this more often, creators like Chance Wolf would be hard pressed to keep up with our crazy ideas!
