I posted here last august that I was contracted to perform at a casino.
I was initially worried about performing bizarre magic in this kind of
venue but my worries were unfounded.

I have regulars that come every week to see what I do next.
as well as an influx of people that show up first for the first time.
the profits for my night have quadrupled since I took over the evening.

the funny thing is that people actually ask for the darker performance.

think I need to do a special anniversary performance just to celebrate!

Congratulations, Michael.

What sort of performing are you doing: strolling-style entertainment or theater-style show?

Best,

I actually do a mix of small stage and strolling performance.
its a very intimate environment, so I can get more personal
with the performances.

thank you guys!

Congratulations, Michael. It shows great creativity and showmanship to hang onto a job like this for a year!

That must be a big workload. How do you keep the creativity up?

To be honest it is fun to try and take some of the old magic and revamp it and dress it and
put it in a new setting. mix in some mentalism, give it all a reason to exist.

it takes a month to get the basic plot, another to get the prosp, and a couple weeks to finish it up
so I'm constantly working to new material.

Michael, I think it might also be time for a little PR. A one year anniversary might get you a little free press.

Congrats Michael, do you find it annoying having to do different tricks for repeat customers, or do you have them asking for certain performances they enjoy?
