The beard thing........is it mandatory for Bizarre.
I'm fairly new to Bizarre but currently support a reasonable set of facial hair in the "Maue" style. Distinctive grey streaks, which in my opnion add the appropriate touches of both maturity and a hint of menace, especially if I twist it to a point.. so I would like to believe.I am considering a change but need advice.Do I go to a Marucci........the longer distinguished statesman look or cut back to an Icazod......from what I can see of the picture, pretty cool. I was considering a Byrd or Burger........more likely a Burger due to my current grey content but I think this would take to long. Maven or Tora.........now that would be a good choice....VERY COOL........but the grey in mine could be a problem. They always look as though "they know something I don't"......I'm thinking about it though Any advice ? .........apart from the obvious curses and rites that may be aimed in my direction Disclaimer: I'm sorry guys.....this is in no way meant to be insulting to the people I've mentioned, on occasion text may not convey the true intention......It is meant in good humour........I hope you take it that way. I consider access to this site as a privledge and being able to converse with you guys on occasion as pleasure......put it down to a whacky english sense of humour |

One of the masters of Bizarre, Brother Shadow, has no beard...just a moustache. Docc Hilford has neither.
You go with what you like. Don't worry about what others do. Best regards, Tony Razzano

Apologies to Ichazod, If I am to "take his name in vain" I could at least do him the courtesy of spelling it right

Supposedly, the wearing of a beard sends a psychological signal to other people that you can't be trusted.

Thats strange! ... a motto of mine has always been "Never trust a man with a beard"
It has always been right too ... at least with any bearded people I've dealt with Present company excepted Regards Steven King |

Here's my free advice, and it's worth every penny.....
Develop your own look. I'm trying to put across a look of someone who might have connections to the dark side. I don't do kid's shows nor would I work the corporate scene (unless they needed some Halloween entertainment). You may not want to burn all those bridges. Develop the character first and let your character dictate your look. Seems to be the general thought amoungst those who have an opinion on such things. Byrd (oddly watresses always call out "Beard" party of two when I and my wife go out to eat).
