So Laurence Fishburne is officially leaving CSI. That ruins my theory that the show was going to become Dexter.
I predict the end of CSI. Unless they are secretly planning to bring Grissom back (hey, I can dream.) Let's face it, all of the non Grissom/Langston characters on CSI are great characters, but none of them are strong enough to carry the show by themselves. Grissom was CSI. Langston was interesting enough to keep me checking in, but without Grissom it wasn't a must see show for me. And without Langston I don't even have any reason to even check in any more. CSI's ratings have been declining since William Peterson left, but I think the few who still tuned in did it because Langston was interesting. Now we don't even get to keep the consolation prize. Oh well. It was nice while it lasted.

That sucks. Really only been catching the odd ep since Peterson left. I enjoyed what I saw with Fishburn on the show though.

I just don't know when CSI became the flavor of the month. I can't remember the last time they actually broke a case. I never in my life saw them do interviews, carry guns, or any of the other nonsense they do.
It is just strange to me and it is a tough thing to get by. They don't do half the crap they do in Las Vegas or Miami in my experience. Doesn't mean they don't do it anywhere.

I've never seen a cop blow anything up, but I like Lethal Weapon and Die Hard

Here in Vegas, when anyone asks about CSI, the locals will always say, "Ah, yes, the story of CSIs who are so busy solving cases that they don't even have time to learn to correctly pronounce the name of the stat......dly live."

They should of ended it 5 years ago (or more). I haven't watched it in years. It got to the point that they were jumping the shark every week.
