Why is Pop Art so Loud? The loud sound seems very suspicious in my opinion.

Glad you like the look of the effects Smile

I have been using Popart for about 5 years now, after years of toying with how I wanted real magic to look like & also to be able to tailor its uses for other routines, like make your iphone appear !!

as far as the sound goes for the video this was shot in a studio with no noise at all, when performing Popart for real people in real environments the pages slapping the sketch pad is at a minimal, as the spectators are processing the visuals they have just seen Smile

If anyone has any questions about my 2 new effects Poker Fly & Popart, I would love to hear from you & answer any questions you might have

Thanks for looking Smile

Best Wishes

Hi Mike, Popart was first tested about six years ago & inspiration came from Kevin James Bowl A Rama but I wanted to have a visual appearance of an object & not be limited to just that one. Henrys does have the same visuals, but my version that I independently created is very different Popart can be customised, like I said to make an iphone visually appear or even an 8 ball

When the deck of cards appear the deck & Box from Popart is examinable if you use a regular for the effect Smile

To be honest the video is the bare bones of what can be achieved with this universal gimmicks.

Hope that clears a few things up Smile

Best Wishes

I have Pop Art and although the effect looks similar to 3D Advertising the method is completely different and a lot more visual. It is one of those effects that shocks me as I perform it. It is so clean and you can use it is more versatile than you might think. There are ways to produce other items that you actually draw on a page yourself. The reactions I get when I perform Pop Art are some of the best reactions I have ever received to any trick. I would recommend this thrick to anyone, beginner or advanced, it is as a miracle effect!!!

PopArt: I recieved this unique and amazing effect a few days ago - I performed at anniversary party last Saturday and the reactions were wonderful! - the instructional dvd is comprehensive and easy to understand (almost self-working) - I also appreciated all the ideas Mark provides - the sketchpad is beautifully made, simply a first class prop.

PopArt has my full endorsement! Easily worth the price!

Nat

P.S. The MagicTao customer service is exceptionally prompt and efficient - thank you, Costas!

I love the look of Popart but am just trying to figure out how it would fit into one of my routines.
Do you give any ideas of routines on the dvd Mark?

The first thing that sprang to mind was to use it in an invisible deck routine.

Show the picture and begin the routine by saying I want you to imagine taking this deck of cards out of the picture - then continue with your normal i.d routine.

At the end, produce the deck and do the reveal.

Hi David,
ID for this is perfect Smile in fact any routine etc that requires a deck can be produced & then lead into any effect, I do go over different ideas on the dvd, but the possibilities are endless.

If you have ideas like that from the video if you had the pad in your hands then the routines you would think of ,all can be used with Popart Smile

Glad you like it Smile

I have it. Ok but sometimes hard to align the gimmick, bit like a slippery Sam but without the s**** bit to nest it neatly.
