Embalming techniques and just a good yarn regarding how "it came to be", would suffice for many. Stranger artifacts exist in the world, with even stranger lore and legend behind them. Once witnessed "animated", no disclaimer would hold up in the back of their minds. Smile

I understand that a lot of performers would want to call it a "real" severed hand. It certainly looks real.

But for most of the audiences I play to, I expect this would be greeted with resounding "yuck" noises. I wonder if the presentation of it as an actual hand might actually distract the audience beyond whatever effect the hand does...

Referring to it as a "casting' seems much more elegant to me. And the notion that it is an enchanted casting makes it much more credible...to me anyway.

I agree with David.

It does look real and in candle or low light probably even more so, but telling people it's real may negate the mystery.

I have Andino's Hand and I have been thinking about seeing if TW could gut it for use with my SM board. Now I don't have to Smile

And I have to say that Annabelle Lee looks much better and hopefully not nearly as expensive or temperamental.

Great work!!!!!

There is also the very real possibility that someone might phone the police... think about it, in their mind you are presenting another persons severed hand, maybe they might imagine it a good idea to have the police check out your fridge Smile
Safe to assume any barbicue you put on in the future might be poorly attended too LOL

I've received several inquiries the past week on A.L.

She will be on the site sometime next week.

Annabelle Lee, a Tim Wisseman aged wood box with aged leather hinges and an actual hand written note dated 1942 from A.L.

$265 shipped worldwide

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

I know you guys love the look of Annabelle Lee, and so do we, but we have received a few inquiries from customers that are also interested in a young woman's hand.

We are adding a young lady's hand as another choice. It will be as detailed as the old hand but will of course look like a young womans hand.

It will be aged up to look like it was created 65 years ago

Her name is Mary MacAway

Both will appear on the new web page early next week. They are also the same price.

Thanks!

Unbelievable. I'm seriously almost afraid to order this and have it in my house. It is so frickin' creepy.
OK. Who am I fooling? I love it. Love it. Love it. Love it.
