My bunny is back to her sweet self. In matter of fact I'm going to use her in my magic show Friday, which is July 1st. The interesting thing is HER last show was June 1st, a Wednesday. On June 3rd. was when she changed into a she devil.
My other bunny, also a female, never went through any changes, and she is over 3 and a half years old. |

No doubt about it. I used the bunny that I had spaded today. She is completely back to her sweet self again.
It was 1 month ago today since the last time I used her. |

Neutered male with spayed female is the only way to go. Even then getting them to bond is not always going to be easy and sometimes needs lots of patience.

I always used male rabbits because they were more calm. However, I have not used a rabbit in the show for years. My favorite was a French Angora named Mr. Easter. He was very small, but had BIG hair. He literally packed small and played big!
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

We had a spayed female rabbit who was the most docile affectionate quiet rabbit. she just loved the attention. then she had to be put down to intestines intertwined and she became so ill on us.

Update...we spent a lot of extra time just giving them TLC before we even attempted to pick her up and it seems to have worked. Still not sure what her problem was???? Have been pciking her up, giving TLC sometimes just sitting with her in a chair and everything seems to be ok.

If I may ask how are you picking her up? rabbits normally don't like being picked up unless their legs are fully supported. I'm sure you are doing this correctly. Our male rabbit hates being picked up at first but when he is nuzzled in our arms he just loves to be petted and will want to be petted for hours if we let him lol. when we first got our male rabbit at 8wks old I had him in my lap while I was on the computer daily. he would fall asleep and I would pet him. he got used to this. now the silly rabbit being he is in a condo custom built cage multi level he does this run up to top back to bottom back to top then down to the middle area where the door is before he gets petted. it is funny to watch!

2 hands, from underneath supporting her front and rear so they feel comfortable being picked up...
