A shameless plug. Maybe it should be retitled to "Are You Struggling To Get Enough Hypnotists To Your Teleseminar"

Well that's one line free for someone else as Mindpro won't be attending!
I have some great hypnosis business ideas: I'm emigrating to Scotland and buying shares in a swimming trunk factory! PS what time is it in Hawaii (Have you had January yet?)

Agree or not, shameless plugs are not supposed to be in this section.

I am with Danny. I also think there is far less value in these conference calls than there is in sitting down with a good book for an hour.

Well as it's free I don't see a problem as people might be interested in being informed about it.
If there was a charge then I would wholehartedly agree.

It's truly not fair to those that do things properly in accordance with the rules and policies and pay for an ad for their message to reach members. Just thought that since he was new, I'd point this out, as he either never read the rules or simply disregarded them.

Yea it is 'free' the same way time share presentations are LOL. He is eventually selling something and as mindpro points out others have paid for such a service.

I always remember that Simpsons episode where they try to get him to go to a "free weekend". Homer,"and what will this free weekend cost me?" ...IT'S FREE... "and when is this?" .. THIS WEEKEND.... "And what will this weekend cost me?" It was hilarious.
I am sure someone smarter can find it online somewhere.

I once went on a holiday that was so bad I went to a time share presentation just to cheer myself up!

So how was the free course? Did anyone benifit from it?

WOW! Attack the newbie, talk down to them, correct them and try to debase all they do.
Things don't change around here do they? And ALWAYS by exactly the same set of people. Anyone would think that they were being forced to do something against their will, which, of course, they are not.

Wow what put your panties in a bunch? I asked if anyone benifited from it is all. I think the lady doth protest too much.

The investment for this personal business coaching is only $1995!<<<< Im glad its only $1995 Its a marketing course. I don't know about the US but I don't know any therapist that earns a decent living in the Uk. And I have known dozens of therapists over the years. The only people I know who have earned real money are those that sell courses. This course doesn't even have a guarantee. It seems like a lot to me especially in the current climate. However if its a marketing course it should advise you about using forums and social media. And that the worse thing you can do is spam by trying to sell direct. He shoud really be posting here offering real help and advice before pimping a teleseminar. that's basic marketing knowledge. |

I am not so sure about the dismal prognosis for hypnotherapists. When Paul Goldin retired from the stage he was coining it in. I have seen his clinic. It was like a conveyor belt. Every half hour a new punter came in from the waiting room and it was like that all day. I remember about 20 years ago he was charging 50 quid a time. Nowadays I bet it would be about 100 euros or something like that. Work it out yourselves. Over a thousand euros a day on a bad day with only 10 punters.
I also met another retired stage hypnotist who became a hypnotherapist. I asked him if he missed the stage and he said, "Oh no, I prefer hypnotherapy a thousand times as much. There is far more money in it" I am sure there are plenty of starving hypnothapists but I don't believe for one minute it is all doom and gloom. |

Try working in Edinburgh... Oh of course I forgot you did try that. We discussed this ages ago on another forum. The difference between Glasgow and Edinburgh...
I can think of easier ways to make money....probably the first thing would be to move! |
