I'm interested in "whisper" too, and I tried to reach the author via email, but with no avail. So I'll post my questions here: - it's something only for stage work or can it be used close up? in either case, is it the same "thing", or you have to act accordingly/adapt? - (this one seems to be already answered, but just in case) so, it's NOT simply a matter of whispering to the guy the work you peeked/forced/etc I mean, if people are going to talk with him after show, will he tell them that he had some kind of "insight" (and not because I asked him not to ) - is it self contained? is it some sort of dual reality? - the spectator actually gets the word apparently by himself, apparently using the instructions you whispered him? - how do you overcome the problem that the audience will think that you whispered the correct word in the spec ears (you are a mindreader after all, so you can read it!) thanks Daniele

Let me see about answering these questions for you: - One of the ideas for the supplement that everyone who has Whisper will get, is an amazing idea for how to make this a really fantastic close up piece. - yes, you're right. - right again - the way I do this is, before I whisper to them is I say "i am not going to tell you the answer, I don't want you to lie for me under any circumstances" then I whisper and again re-state those things. Plus, the reaction the person has on their face when they get ti right confirms for everyone that its for real. There has to be some dual reality otherwise there is no point in whispering, you may as well say it out loud. Hope that makes sense. No pre-show at all buddy. If you ask any of the people who have contacted me already, I am bluntly honest with my replies, because I'd prefer the people who do get Whisper to be people who it's suited to, who can use it and who I think will come up with great ideas by using it that they might share with me so I could put in to a supplement for the rest of the people who are 'in the know' with Whisper.
