I thought you guys would appreciate this, the new website for the International Society of Cryptozoology has been launched today and are looking for members.

Word is there will soon be a gallery showing evidence of sightings and a forum to discuss those close encounters.

Please help make this grow Smile

http://www.internationalsocietyofcryptozoology.net is where you need to be heading.

Reminds me that I've some cryptozoological artifacts at the Surnateum. Like this Sao terracotta (XIIth century) that really looks like the mokele-mbembe's head

or the Mumuye flower coin, a perfect Kraken.

not to mention the Ban Jankhri (yeti) mask

and other oddities...

I like the look of the yeti mask, that's just freaky. I'll have to come back over to the Surnateum and have a look about.

Just joined, I've organised an exped to Blackmere Pool in autumn in search of the mermaid - I'll be posting a mini documentary if we make it back alive!

The investigation of the Mermaid of Blackmere starts tomorrow.

All night vision equipment charged? Check, Video Equipment charged? Check, Fishing Rod and bait? Check!

Could be interesting!

Update to follow....

I read once that the first Bigfoot (called 'Skookum' then) sighting was recorded in Spokane by a fur trapper. He was recounting what the Indians told him about the creature. I've had a heck of a time remembering the source, but I hope it's true.

Here's a more recent-er one:
