Hello everyone,
I am Bradley Barefoot. I am from central Pennsylvania, now living in the Youngstown area of Ohio. I first got the magic bug when I was seven years old and saw David Copperfield on TV doing the Niagara Falls special. I then tried to read everything I could about the subject and asked for every magic set I could find. In college, I started to perform at frat parties and have done a few birthday parties for family and friends as well as my entrance shows for Ring 2 of IBM. My favorite subjects are currently Mentalism and Bizarre Magic. I have, however, learned to eat fire and I am currently building some illusions to feature my Robbie the Raccoon in. I also enjoy just sitting down and brainstorming to come up with new ways to do tricks or use old props, etc. I hope that by joining the Café I can use my experiences and knowledge to help others as well as draw on others to help advance the art Magic. |

Welcome bbarefoot,
I suppose if you enjoy the bizarre you could have Robbie channel Houdini's rabbit for an escape from a drawer box. I wish I'd started in Magic young (when someone else would buy the Magic). I don't imagine Frat. Parties are an easy place to perform. You must be very brave. -Mary Mowder |

I actually enjoyed doing the frat parties, I was in college, the alcohol was free for performing, the music was provided, and it was loud enough I did not have to talk, just perform and act.
I like the idea for the Robbie trick. It probably would be easier than constructing and Asrah levitation for him. |

Welcome Bbarefoot, all of the people here are awesome, be careful though, there are some time black holes and you can blink and have been on the Café for hours (I've experienced it). In any event, welcome aboard!
