Does anyone know a place online besides ebay to buy english pennys for a reasonable cost.

You may want to look at your local coin shop. Typically circulated foreign coins are very inexpensive.

I have about 100 of them mostly George V 1907 till about the 30's. The ones before Liz the second were made of Bronze so they are a darker patina compared to the shiny copper ones.
