I should have been more clear. Baba O'Riley's POWER lies in the DYNAMICS. Much of so called [insert subgenre] core metal is a wall of sound with NO dynamics. As for the idiot comment, perhaps a harsh word but still fitting in this context. But to each her/his own and to me Baba O'Riley trumps ANYTHING by Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel ANY day. I hasten to add that I am not a classic rock is the only music to listen to fogey.

Maybe I will start a thread on the sorry state of metal and the NEW bands trying to save it. Smile
